How to Keep Your Gaming Account Safe
Imagine waking up one day and finding your account gone — along with all your skins and levels. To make sure that never happens, take these steps seriously.
1. Create a strong password
A password that's just your name and birthday is easy to guess. Use a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Use a different password for each service.
2. Turn on two-factor authentication
Most games support two-factor authentication (2FA). With it enabled, even if someone knows your password, they can't log in without the SMS or email code.
3. Never give your password to anyone
No legitimate seller needs your account password for a "top-up" or "gift." Anyone who asks for your password = scammer.
⚠️ Don't share your password even with a close friend. Many accounts get compromised by exactly these "friends."
4. Watch out for "free gift" links
Links that say "log in and get free skins" are usually phishing — fake pages designed to steal your password. Read more in this article.
5. Link your account to an email
Guest accounts are easy to lose. Always link your account to an email or official account so you don't lose it when you change phones.
Your account is like your home — keep the door locked.
